COVID-19 Information & Resources for ACDS Members
Dear ACDS Members,
We continue to monitor and participate in weekly California Dental Association (CDA) conference calls surrounding the COVID-19 virus in order to ensure our membership is fully informed. Please continue to access the CDA COVID-19 Info Center for daily updates on resources for practice re-opening guidelines and the latest on the Small Business Administration's Economic Injury Disaster Loans and PPP loan programs. Other resources include:
California Department of Public Health guidelines for resuming deferred and preventative dental care.
California Employers Association is a great resource for training on state mandated restrictions for re-opening businesses and emloyees returning to work.
Facebook CDA community that provides information on practice management webinars and other areas of interest at this time. The CDA staff, while sheltering-in at home, is providing complete support in all departments and there to assist you.
Other important items include Delta Dental of California announced its decision to postpone the effective date of its planned fee reductions to approximately 2,200 endodontists, oral surgeons and periodontists in the Delta Dental Premier network from July 1, 2020, to January 1, 2021.
In addition, CDA received word the Department of Consumer Affairs has waived statutory or regulatory renewal requirements (CE) for individuals whose active licenses expire between March 31, 2020 and June 30, 2020. CDA staff is working to extend the waiver further.
ACDS will be offering its regularly scheduled CE events via Zoom webinars - please check the Events page of this site. Dates subject to change from normal annual calendar.
Thank you for your continued support of our society and communities. We wish you and your families the best in these trying times.
